Obverse: Design in brown over a yellow underprint. On the right, portrait of Simon Bolivar based in the painting "Retrato Ecuestre de El Libertador" (Equestrian portrait of The Liberator) by Tito Salas. In the center, watermarks zone. On the left, the denomination value "100". Shared in the top and the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL", "DE VENEZUELA" and the word "CARACAS". Below the issuer name in the top, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES". Above the issuer name in the bottom, the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO". In the right corners, the denomination value "100".T he serial number is in the upper left and bottom right.
Similarities of the obverse design: The design is the same to Design D, Type C.
Reverse: Design in brown over a yellow underprint. On the left, National Capitol. On the right, Coat of Arms. In the center, watermarks zone. On the top, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES". On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". In each corner, the denomination value "100".
Similarities of reverse design: The design is the same to Design D, Type C.
Design variations: The serial numbers printed with magnetic ink.
Circulation note: The note with dated "Octubre 13 1998" is the last issue in this denomination, and there will be not further printing in this denomination.
