  • General: Circular shape with continous oblique grained edge.
  • Obverse: Circular rim with dentacle beading. In the center, effigy of Liberty looking at left, with seven stars ni arc above, and in the exergue, an anchor, the year, "A" and "BARRE". Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, bust of Liberty facing left with 7 stars above. In the exergue, an anchor, the year, the mintmark "A" and "BARRE".
  • Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, Coat of Arms with the motto "19 DE ABRIL 1810", "5 DE JULIO 1811" and "LIBERTAD". Surrounding the field, the legend "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela», the face value "5 Rles" and the metallic millesimal fineness "LEI 835" "11,50 Gs.".
