In the center, portrait of Simon Bolivar inside an oval from unknown author with the denomination value "100" in each side, below, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES" and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" with two serial numbers below. In each corner, the denomination value "100".
Similarities of the obverse design: The design is the same to Design A, Type A
Reverse: Design with brown as predominant color with frame-like border. In the center, inside a circle, Coat of Arms and below the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES". On the left and right, on small and big size, two values "100". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA"
Similarities of reverse design: The design is similar to Design A, Type A, with a change of the lowest motto in the Coat of Arms from "EEUU DE VENEZUELA" to "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" (Republic of Venezuela), due to the country name change by the new constitution.
