In the center, front of the Palacio de las Academias (Palace of Academy, previous seat of the Universidad Central de Venezuela--Central University of Venezuela). On the left, watermarks zone. In each corner except bottom right, the value "50". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". Above the middle engraving, the denomination in words "CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES" with the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" below, and a serial number in each side. In the center, below the issuer name, the word "CARACAS". In the bottom, over a black security background, two value "50".
